Who doesn’t love a good game of Candyland? It’s time to decide on the best birthday party games for a one year old, and with the obvious game of Candyland out of the way, we need your help! Over the last couple weeks we have been placing polls on our site to get your vote, but we have decided to mix it up just a tad. To leave the options wide open, we want you to tell us the best games for a first birthday party. Have you tried them yourself? What has worked, or not, for your one year old’s party? Comment below with some suggestions. It is hot, so we are going to have some baby pools set up, but beyond that I’ve got nothin’! I know we have to keep it simple, but we need at least one fun activity for kids ages 1-5 to keep these lil ones busy. So let us know what you’ve got up your sleeve!

For little ones, you could play “Licorice, Licorice, Lollipop like Duck, Duck, Goose”
For my daughter’s 3rd birthday, we had a lollypop theme and I baked spiral shaped cookies onto lollypop sticks and let the kiddies decorate their cookies with frosting and candies, which I wrapped with cellophane and tied with ribbons and added to their goodie bags to take home so they wouldn’t have sugar shock at the party after eating the cake and ice cream too.
