As a four year old, it is about time my little princess learns to tie her shoes. What is the typical age that the kiddos learn to do this? Velcro isn’t going to be as cute and fashionable when she gets to school, and it won’t be so cool when she has to ask her teachers and friends to tie her shoes, so we better get the shoe tying down now. So, it was perfect timing when Tie Buddies sent us a sample of their product. These things are a life saver. A great tool to teach your rugrats to tie their shoes, Tie Buddies are cute and functional. Thread most laces through (I say most because we have ONE pair of shoes with laces that are too thick) and create permanent little “bunny ears” to make tying easier for those tiny fingers. The best part is that they don’t slide around on the laces, so your little ones can keep them on regularly–especially convenient when they are at school. They worked magic for us, my little girl has been practicing for two days and can almost tie her shoes all by herself!
