You must own a pashmina shawl by now. If not, you need to buy one immediately. It is a total Happy Hour Mom must-have! You can get them inexpensively or in the highest quality, any color or pattern seen on earth and they can be handy in sticky situation or give new light to a boring outfit. While living in Dubai, pashminas were EVERYWHERE! Both Shannon and I purchased a minimum of ten each for gifts, and, of course, to keep a few for ourselves. At the time I was breastfeeding still and hadn’t gotten one of the Hooter Hiders before my departure. So, I used the couple of shawls that weren’t as expensive, in case there was some leakage. They worked great! You can either drape them over your front in a crisscross pattern or use a simple one on each side to cover the major parts. Besides motherhood’s greatest moments you can use these awesome accessories in so many ways:
Travel. Throw a pashmina in your carry on or purse. Planes can get cold, instead of using a germ infested blanket snuggle up with your scarf or bunch it up to use as a pillow.
Beach. Use a pashmina to wrap around your waist for a quick and easy cover up at the beach.
Everyday wear. While running your errands of the day you can turn a easy tee ensemble into a sophisticated statement by wearing a pashmina as a scarf (not to mention keeping warm in the refrigerated aisles.)
Shower Gift. Step up your gift at your next baby shower and give a special gift for the mommy and not just the babe.
