I have watched a few captions of the local KARE 11 news and caught a glimpse of talk that a Minnesota Mom-to-be is going to allow Moms Like Me to broadcast a live stream of her entire hospital visit via the Internet. Granted, there are TLC shows, like Baby Story that may show a bit TMI, but this was a LIVE feed. By the time I had tuned in, I caught Lynsee’s friend bringing her McDonald’s (yea, that’s what I was thinking). Shortly after I watched the replay of the beginning of her delivery. Honestly? I was totally shocked that someone would agree to such a private experience, unless gracefully compensated! Would you broadcast your labor and delivery for all to see? One of our Open Sky fellow shopkeepers, His Boys can Swim, even keep their identity anonymous because of all the graphic details that they shared about “Jane’s” experience.
