We found Gift Elephant just in time for the holiday season! With so many friends and family it is sometimes
hard to keep track of the gifts you have given and received each year. With Gift Elephant, you don't have to
do the remembering on your own. Not only that, your thank you cards will be a cinch. We had the pleasure of
asking Jordana of Gift Elephants a few questions, and this is what she had to say:
HHM: What a fantastic idea! When did you realized there was such a need for this service?
JORDANA: My husband and I came up with the idea for Gift Elephant because we could never remember what we'd given
our 9 nieces and nephews for their birthdays or for the holidays -- and we didn't want to be the aunt and uncle who
gave the same Wii game two years in a row. So we created the site to help people remember any gifts given or received,
send reminders for any gift-giving occasion, make notes on upcoming gift purchases, mail customized thank-you postcards,
and reduce the stress related to giving gifts!
HHM: Have you ever re-gifted something?
JORDANA: Admittedly, I have re-gifted a couple times, but I don't think it's anything to be embarrassed about.
It may be generous and thoughtful present, but a person can only have so many glass vases. Luckily, I've
never made the mistake of re-gifting the same present back to the person who gave it to me. And Gift Elephant
ensures that you'll avoid this faux pas -- for example, if you keep track of who gave you what, you'll know to
never give them back that same bottle of wine....
HHM: So it is completely free to sign up? No catch?

HHM: Have you ever received/given the same gift twice?
JORDANA: I have a fear of giving the same gift twice to the same person (especially with my memory), but
that's one of the perks of Gift Elephant.
HHM: What's on your wish list this holiday season?
JORDANA: The major gift on my wish list is that fantastic, pixel-dreamy Nikon
camera every one is so crazy about.
HHM: How do you spend your Happy Hour?
JORDANA: Going for a run, reading a magazine, and watching "Modern Family."
