We arrived on Sunday to Lebanon and after three flights with a toddler on my lap, no, I didn’t think that he would just fall into a perfect sleep pattern. But, I had no idea it would be this miserable either. Let me preface that the management of international teams seem to think that their players don’t have families and therefore, only give out one bedroom apartments. Every other year we have been given a two bedroom apartment without trouble. Now, when it is most crucial for our little man to have his own space, we are stuck sharing.

Each evening we are waken by Baby D, who is lying in between us, kicking, squawking and squirreling around and it goes on for about three hours. For a child that has always easily been snuggled to sleep we don’t know what else to do. We’ve tried it all and nothing seems to work. Last night we were given a Pack N’ Play and set it up in the living room. Even after one week all of his amazing sleeping skills that were perfected over the past few weeks, flew out the window. It took, yet another hour to get him to settle down and go to sleep.
