Summer is here and so is the flood of [intlink id="1476" type="post"]baby showers[/intlink], [intlink id="8323" type="post"]weddings[/intlink], outdoor birthday parties, etc. Did you know that there is a group of cake snobs out there that really judge a party by the cake? A good handful of them are members of my extended family. But there are a few rules of joining.
1. [intlink id="283" type="post"]Cake [/intlink]has to be your favorite food.
2. You have to be open to trying all new flavor concoctions.
3. When the holidays roll around it’s a competition as to who gives the coolest cake-inspired gift. (I won on my birthday with The Great Cupcake Pan from Williams-Sonoma, Thanks PJ!”
Aside, from the secret club of best tasting cakes they have to look amazing in order to impress your guests. Better Homes and Gardens always has great ideas, and I’m not just saying that because my BFF is an Art Director for them. As you can tell, I’ve been truly inspired by bright, vibrant colors and amazing pictures lately. Don’t forget the most important part…the attached recipes for a little DIY project. Good Luck and send us your attempts!
