Whose television is turned to a sporting event right now? Every single channel I turn to is the state tournament, a NCAA basketball game, hockey…you name it, someone’s playing it and my family is watching it! My husband and brother joined some ESPN application that allows you to pick the winners of games and somehow win $100,000 if you have the longest winning streak that month. Being the only female in this household is quite lonely (but, nice sometimes too) because every waking second is revolved around sports. Like spending 7 years abroad supporting my husband’s basketball career wasn’t enough. Now that he’s retired, he is finding his obsession for any sport at the disposal of his fingertips on a remote. This Happy Hour Mom is heading out to find my own ways of relaxation.
Don’t get me wrong, I love athletics and used to even call myself an athlete, but too much of anything is just not good!
