
Is it spring yet? I can not wait to upgrade my picnic essentials in hopes of a warm spring day. The thoughts of heading to a close park and find the perfect spot for a family picnic in the shade, hopefully near a close body of water. Throw out a water-resistant blanket, set up all the yummy foods suitable for outdoor temps, lay back and get comfy, relax and prepare for some serious family bonding. These are the activities and moments that make the best family memories!

Make sure you have your own space. If you can hear others, than they can hear you! Spead out and enjoy your own area.

Great Picnic-Friendly Foods
Hard cheeses are great snacks for when it gets hot out. Stick with different kinds of Cheddar. For added fun, buy sliced cheese and deli meat then use small cookie cutters for fun shapes. Serve with a variety of crackers and fruits, like apples and grapes.
Submarine sandwiches are always a crowd pleaser because everyone can make what they want. Pick up a variety of meats, veggies, cheeses and small packets of condiments. Throw in a mini-snacker chip bags and you have a full meal on the go perfect for picnicking.
If you have some free time the night before you can whip up a healthy rendition to chicken fingers which are still delicious served cold. Use crushed cornflakes for a fun added crunch. Buy the trial versions of ranch dressing, paired with some veggie spears and you’ll be good to go!
Fresh fruit is always an easy, healthy dessert option. If your kids are being rewarded or have a sweet tooth then you can make a batch of your favorite brownies!

Fun and excitement is the name of the game when you go on picnics. On the current economic status, saving money is a thing every family would like to do.
