2010 Halloween pumpkin trends were metallics. After roaming my new favorite site, Happy Hour Mom’s Pinterest, for a mindless time suck (that I can’t get enough of) I came across 2011 pumpkin trends; rhinestones, henna, paint, die-cuts and more!
If you aren’t feeling like putting all of the time and preparation into planning, gutting and carving this year’s pumpkins to display on your front porch in all their glory, then make it easy on yourself. I am still new to the whole deck-out-your-pad-in-full-festivity-garb and have not ever noticed how cute these pumpkin stands can be. Think about taking the high road with an intermediate level scary pumpkin face, while amping up your overall presentation by adding wrought iron limbs and shoes. While I am still piecing together my decor, I’m planning on hitting up the stores nearby on the day after Halloween (my own self proclaimed Black Sunday) Here are a few examples I found from Wrapables, Pier 1, Yankee Harvest and Joann Fabrics.
The best part about using those foam pumpkins is that they don’t get slimey or old and you can reuse them every year or update them with the latest trend!
