While on the hunt for the best holiday gifts for 2011, Happy Hour Mom stumbled across one of our favorite products thus far. Yes IdeaPaint was launched in 2008, but it is better late than never, and we just had to include this super fab product in our Holiday Gift Guide with great gift ideas for Teachers and Coworkers. Yes we could have left it at that, but as I obsess over his latest item on my wish list, I figured IdeaPaint should have a page of its own here on HappyHourMom.com. I guess I have been so smitten with chalkboard everything, that the whole whiteboard paint concept never crossed my mind. I love that you can take advantage of various shades of whites, beiges, and grays to create a space ready for doodles, charts, and reminders.  It is much more subtle than chalkboard paint, and perfect for a modern, chic look in your home or office. This product was a long time coming and it sounds like founder John Goscha put it all on the line to bring his brilliant idea to life. You can check out the “How-to-install” video to the right, and the Flickr Slideshow Gallery below. Here is a bit about the product as seen on IdeaPaint.com…

“It can be applied to anything you can paint – drywall, plaster, chalkboard, tables, refrigerators, bunk beds, light sabers.”
