Happy Hour Moms Shannon and Toni had the opportunity to go backstage with Nicole Miller before her Fall 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Show. The atmosphere was chaotic, as with all shows right before the start, and the make-up artists, stylists and designer were working away at all of the last minute touches to get the gorgeous models looking perfect before the show. Hair was being flattened and smoothed down, straight as can be, with extensions being added as needed. The make-up was gorgeously fun and flirty, with natural tones, high warm cheeks, barely there natural lip color, and a slight shimmer being added to the lids. I absolutely loved the natural yet sleek and sexy hair and make-up in Nicole Miller. The nails were a bit more colorful, with a psychadellic twist. You can see a close-up of the nails below.
Nicole Miller presented her show of “Parallel Times,” sharing that she loves “blending modern technology and old techniques.” I loved the combinations of texture and colors this season. She listed her go-to choices for her collection as, “tweed, velvet, powernet and neoprene.” The line was truly refreshing, with an incredible forward-thinking, innovative feel.
