Paletas are a Latin American popsicle typically made from all different kinds of fresh fruit and sometimes cream. They can be found on your nearest cart, kiosk from your favorite paletero. This summer when the temperature rises above the norm and you’re looking for a cool sweet treat try a new recipe. Now more than ever people are trying exciting flavor combinations of sweet, salty, creamy and spicy. Typical flavors range widely form the typical chocolate and vanilla to guanabana, chilli, mango, pistachio, tamarin, pineapple, cucumber, watermelon, berry, etc. These desserts on-a-stick can be seen in beautiful layers and covered with chocolate or nuts.
