With the school year officially started, most of our little learners have already have their backpacks, lunch boxes and enough supplies to get them started. I was browsing through some of our HappyHourMom Twitter friends and came across an awesome Australian-based site, Design Child. I do my best to avoid the generic Disney Princess bags and cookie-cutter gear that will be seen on every other back on the playground. I love that Design Child features adorable designs and had to share them with all of you. From little suitcases that are perfect for weekend visits to grandma’s house, to gift bag tags tat are perfect for sending sweet notes and messages in your son or daughter’s lunch box. While living in Japan last year, I got hooked on “library bags.” My daughter’s school in Japan asked every parent to have 2 library bags for each child. They were great for books that needed to be brought back and forth from school, they are light-weight and are the perfect size to hook on the back of a stroller if needed.
