Tess Johnson, RN, PHN, IBCLC, is a registered nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, as well as a wife and mom of three happy, healthy breastfed girls . Her main objective is to encourage and empower the mothers and families of the Fresno/Clovis area to achieve their wellness goals by providing compassionate, family-centered lactation care. One of the most exciting and effective aspects of Tess’s breastfeeding assistance is that she will offer personalized care in the comfort of your own home. She recognizes that most mothers have at least a little anxiety related to breastfeeding, and that during their recovery and bonding time, a new family should not have to leave their home any more than necessary. Tess also knows that a bit of skillful, gentle, and family-centered lactation support can get moms through any of the issues that come their way. Having been an active member of the Fresno/Clovis area since 1989, and working with thousands of mothers and babies at Fresno’s premier lactation clinic from 1991 until 2009, Tess has seen amazing things happen when the right help arrives when needed. For these reasons, she will enthusiastically assist you to a peaceful and confident breastfeeding relationship with your baby.  So while Tess Johnson Lactation Services is new on the Fresno scene, Tess has been at the heart of breastfeeding support in the region for a very long time.
